Not for the faint of heart...

Ok so those of you that have been inside our house know that we aren't afraid of color. Some might say it's too strong, but I absolutely love big, bold & beautiful colors!

I really can't describe how pretty this color is. Of course here is BIG brother Zachary doing some painting...

Ofcourse he eyeballed the big roller, but was satisfied with just getting to paint with something. Here is me and Zachary being precautious while looking very fashionable.

Glad to have that done. Just need to work out some flooring options to finish the room off. Since I've taken some of the baby toys out of hiding (i.e. the closet), Zachary has found fascination with the little rocking chair. He has been sitting in it with his "baby brother" rocking away. Too cute if you ask me..

Baby obsession!

Well I've chosen some key pieces for baby Lucas' nursery. Finally decided which 4 in 1 crib I wanted.

A couple of days ago I decided to make a little blanket for Lucas. So I put together some scrap material left over from the back of Zachary's Nana blanket and some scrap material left over from making my nephew Kagan a star wars robe. This was the result. I just love teal and brown together!

So once I made this little blankie, I really wanted that to be the nursery colors, but normally when I get my heart set on a certain color/design I can't find it anywhere. Well today I hit the jackpot!!

Oh boy am I so excited!! The back of the blankie will have a nice chocolate brown backing with a chocolate brown blanket binding. Then my mom will tie it with teal yarn. It's going to be dang cute! Then I'm going to paint the room a light teal color and find something neat to put on the walls that goes along with the cute jungle animals. So if any of my wonderful relatives that paint or anything of the sort, please feel free to create! LOL. Here is a picture today of Zachary in his Nana blankie. Still loving it after 3 years!

Ella apparently approves of the blankie choice....

HELLO BLOGGER WORLD!!

I know it's been a long time coming. I have more blogger pages to look at every couple of days than I do emails. So I'm caving and doing one. So let's see what I have to blog about. Zachary is getting bigger and bigger by the second. He talks my ear off from sun up to sun down. Random talking or working on his memory skills by telling me what happened either weeks or months ago. He claims everything as his own. My Nana, My chacha, My big boy underoos, My car (eek not yet!) & so forth. I can sing almost every theme song for the cartoons he likes. Silly enough I find myself singing them without any prompting. He likes talking about his 'baby sister' (no we don't know the sex of the baby yet), but he thinks it's a sister. I keep telling him what about a brother and he's like ok. We really don't care what the new baby is as long as we both stay healthy. He will be a good big brother to whatever. Jason likes to ignore the fact that my belly is getting huge as that means we are getting closer to the end and more chaos. He secretly is excited to see what else he produces...ha ha. I ,on the other hand, realized I liked being fatter and pregnant. I was about 40lbs heavier when I got pregnant with Zachary. So without that extra cushion I really feel everything. I feel l ike I'm going to explode most days. I really can't complain though as my health is great. I only have to take 1 shot a day vs 2 from last time. Few bruises, exploding feeling and 1 shot a day is all worth it. Our next appointment is November 3rd and we get to find out what the baby is. Then mommy gets to go shopping! Yippie!
