Finger foods...yummy

It's hard to belive Lucas will be 6 months in 2 weeks. Time definitely flew by! Lucas has been grabbing at anything and everything. Especially food. He is a true guy already! So I started giving him food that he can grab and eat himself. It definitely was a hit!
What am I supposed to do with this?

That's not so bad...

After understanding the concept, he was pratically grabbing it out of my hand before I could get the packaging off.

The downside...the mess!

Not that it matters to him =)

Give me a hug!

Zachary's 4th Reptile Birthday Party

We are so glad that most of our family could make it. We missed the rest of you! With any of my crazy birthday ideas it requires prep work atleast a week in advanced. I'm definitely a DIY party planner. I have to say we all had a great time. Here are the pictures...had to put it on a slideshow there were too many!

Double Rainbow & frog legs...

My sister Charleen came over last Thursday to hang out with me and my kiddos. While sitting on the front porch, the kids started to chase a lizard and instead of getting a lizard they got a frog... They started chasing after it and it hopped in the house. It was one quick hopping frog. Haven't seen this kind of frog here before, but then again we find the craziest things!

My prince?...RIBBIT!

Can you see the double rainbow? I was just shocked that I saw it.

Early Birthday present

Zachary got an early birthday present in the mail. I'm not sure what it is about kids and getting things in the mail, but they absolutely love it!

The way he acted you would have thought he got an hundred dollar bill...ha ha!

NOOOOOOOOOOO, my money!!

Tiny suprises

I was doing dishes when this tiny lizard/gecko scrambled out of the sink (I swear my dishes weren't that piled up!). We have seen several of these outside our house, but it's a bit surprising to see it inside. Anyway, I caught it under a dish. It was a very fast little sucker!

As usual, Zachary had to take a picture with it. I'm sure at some point I'm going to compile all the pictures together and do something with them....

Family fun shots..

We were reading scriptures one night and pulled out the camera (can you tell our camera came back from repair! I LOVE THIS CAMERA!!)

Me and my boys!
He always has this deer in the headlight look...it's the flash.

or maybe not...maybe it's inherited!

It's happening already. Mom, you're embarrassing me!

This is the only shot Jason wanted to be in...ha! On three...1...2....3.....go team!

Umbrella & snow cones

Zachary had his best friend Alyson over while her mom had something to do. So after a bit they were getting bored with his toys so I suggested to go outside and play in the sprinkler. Zachary for some reason can't do anything with water that doesn't involve the umbrella. So here are some shots of them. Ofcourse they weren't allowed inside!!..ha ha.

As you can see the sprinkler was still going on in the background!

Mom's birthday present

I've been working on it here and there. I thought she might like a wall hanging to go over her bed. So here are the finished pictures. Sorry it was belated, MOM!

Brotherly LOVE

I almost forgot to post this. Zachary was making Lucas completely crack up! The first one you can see a bit better than the second one, but it's the sound on the second one that cracks me up!

The days of only holding....

Finally the days of only holding is almost over. Lucas has been trying pretty hard at sitting up the last couple of weeks. Today I plopped him on the floor and he did it! I put the boppy behind him only in case he goes backwards and hits his head. Some are blurry, but only because he wouldn't sit still. Of course some random ones of Zachary just needing to be in the shot...

Gift for the bride and groom

Just one of my latest sewing projects. I'm never done ya know. Eventually everybody will receive a Katrina original..ha ha. It really is like a puzzle. I sewed the pieces of the pieces together.

And then it became the St. Louis temple.
This is what my floor looked like afterwards.

Then after much thought and determination, I decided to hand embroider the trees and the lettering on. I think it came out all right.
Viola!
