Christmas wishes...

Christmas was a blast this year with all the fun things we did as a family and with Zachary actually getting it. Thanks to the dog this year (chewing a present up), we didn't actually put any presents underneath the tree. So he had no clue to come down before he woke us up to check out the goods. Which might be what we will do from now on. Of course the trick is now to not let him talk me into taking out every single gift... Trying to keep some happiness going for days. His big present was his bike. Which he just loves to ride! I'm definitely getting me some extra exercise! Of course this isn't all the wonderful gifts he got this year, but didn't want to slow down the blog too much. I can guarantee that he loved each and every one of them! Thank you!

Here is Zachary in his first pair of skates given to him by his best friend Alyson.

Here he is getting the hang of it. Still really walks more than rolls, but hey it definitely improves his balance...Stockings first in our family and happy was he to see some candy!!

Opening one of the 2 puzzles we bought him. The funniest thing though was when he went to get the other one, I said to him "Oh let's see what that is" and he was like it's a puzzle. I mean before he even opened a corner....smarty pants!

Yeah something he won't mark all over the couches with!

At this point he hasn't seen what "Santa" brought him (i.e. the bike). He opened it and was like it's a hat. I said "I wonder what you use that with"...he said "a bicycle!". Mind you we don't spend time at Wal-mart checking out the bike helmets so I really was shocked when he knew that. Didn't even have a picture of a boy on a bike or anything like that on the plastic part. 3 year old's faith in things is amazing isn't it. I doubt it even crossed his mind that he might not get a bike. Even though I threatened him enough with the idea that "Santa" wouldn't bring him a bike because he wasn't behaving...

Finally the wait is over...

Off he goes...we seriously have the best floor and house layout. He just circles around and around.

Of course then we had to put on his very own license plate! I was going to get a horn, but Jason put his foot down as he would be doing it inside the house...ha ha.

I hope you all, near and far, had a wonderful Christmas! We love and miss you!
