Halloween activities

For Halloween this year Zachary chose his costume from the beginning. He wanted to be a ghost. So I ran with it and made him a ghost outfit out of a white sheet and some black fleece. I just knew he wouldn't want to wear it for long and I was right. I was able to get 1 picture out of him and a little "Oooaaahhhh" (his ghost noise). Then when he actually went trick or treating, it didn't work so well with his running walk style. He totally biffed it a few times and then decided that was it. For Lucas, I decided to make him a little handsome devil. Which was funny to me as he is really a great baby. I made a little fleece hat with devil horns, sewed on a pitch fork and ofcourse a little devil's tail. They both were so dang cute! I also decided to make a smaller trick or treat bag. If you have kids, you know the bags/buckets are getting huge. There is definitely no need for a bag/bucket that big. So as far as Zachary knew he got a lot of candy! Well we did have a really full day as my family decided to go to Renessaince Festival Halloween day before trick or treating. As usual it was full of crazy costumes and great entertainment.
