Potty training has begun. In my opinion it is definitely the worst thing about being a parent. Why can't they just come out potty trained? Anyway, it's been a full week with plenty of accidents, but its working. Lucas now has underoos on all day except at night. He went from kicking and screaming not wanting to go potty and peeing anywhere he chooses to telling me that he has to go and holding long enough to get to the bathroom. There was plenty of times I wanted to abandon ship, but he's not more stubborn than me! He looks soooo cute in underoos! Wesley is almost 4 months now and one of the sweetest things I have ever made! Here are some random pics:

Oh the many faces of Lucas..

Computer hog!

Loves grabbing this ball

Keeps trying to get it in his mouth..

It entertains all...

Look at those hair lines and blue eyes..

The Three Musketeers

We had a little redneck fun going on in the backyard one afternoon when Alyson and Emily came over. They didn't want to do sprinklers so I came up with this..

Water slide...

Kiddie pool (a.k.a. sandbox)

Ta-DA!

Wesley and daddy enjoying the indoors

Not sure what was so fascinating..

Friends for life!!

Summer is definitely starting to burst through with temps in the 100's. We are trying to stay as cool as possible so there is a lot more of early morning/late afternoon activities. Swimming lessons didn't go well as I hoped. We got stormed out more times than we got actual lessons. Zachary and Lucas still had a good time. Zachary jumped right in and learned how to dive to the bottom of the pool. Lucas on the other hand didn't want to have anything to do with the swim teachers. So he just got to play around in the kiddie pool. Well at least he attempted. Zachary also was able to start Taekwondo at our local UMA Taekwondo. He has mixed feelings about it. He loves it and then he doesn't. I hope it changes the longer he does it. I like everything about the 'sport'. It's indoors (ha), they learn self defense moves and they work out really hard the whole entire time. Here is a clip of him and Master Thomas going through the first sequence in order for him to go to yellow belt.

First day

Looks pretty happy to me..

Quick post

I better get in a post before school is out or there just won't be any time. I can't believe I have an almost 2nd grader! They have opened a new Elementary closer to our house so this is his last year at Northampton Elementary. Now he will be Zachary at Zwink Elementary. He's definitely excited to go to a new school and have the possibility of being a car rider (yuck). Zachary will be 7 in August and before you know it he'll be baptized! Lucas is definitely a middle child. Stubborn as all get out, but still a mama's boy. He really says the funniest things and has a huge imagination. This summer I'm going to be taking the boys to swim classes. I actually found a Recreation center closer to home and they have a class that both Zachary & Lucas can take together. Which is a relief as I really thought I would have to tie Lucas to a chair in order to prevent him from jumping in. He loves to swim and is completely fearless. Let's hope they are ready for my boys.. This year going swimming by myself with the boys is out of question so let's hope friends/family will want to go A LOT. Nothing wears out children more than swimming and I'll need it for my sanity...ha! Wesley is doing well. I took him last week to the doctor and he is now 11lbs 2oz. He grew 1 inch in length and 1 inch around his head. He is smiling more and more everyday. I got a half giggle yesterday and so I know that is a coming soon. He's learning to fall asleep on his own without us holding him. He is sleeping in his crib at night for 6 hours. I'm so glad it's becoming a pattern and not a fluke! He loves to have his face covered/mushed into blankets. He's pretty easy going, but doesn't like to play pass the baby for long. He takes a pacifier and when not available sucks his thumb. I haven't decided yet which is more evil. Zachary and Lucas both did not care to do either. So any suggestions would be excellent! Jason will bless Wesley next month (specific date not nailed down yet) so look forward to those pictures. Here are some pictures..

Easter 2012

Easter 2012

Ready to go

Love my man!

Mr. Egghead

The Bunny Man

There's no trouble in the bubble when your walkin' along...

One more time?
The helicopter has arrived to drop some eggs!

They are lined up and ready to run!

Definitely was a Where's Zachary? (under the red arrows). There were so many people there!
Jason lost track of where he was, but happened to get a few when the crowd parted.
A full bucket o' fun!
Lucas' age was in a different area, but not less crazy. He would have gotten ran over if I wasn't with him. Of course he had to stop and crack open the first egg...mmmm candy!

He got a movin' after cracking that first egg.
Thanks Martha for coming along! Thinking about it now, I don't know what we would have done with Wesley?! LOVE YOU!

This is what Wesley did the whole time.

Of course I just can't help myself and wanted to play match-y match-y. So I made all the boys matching ties for Easter Sunday.

Not as hard as I thought it would be..I think I did most of them in my sleep!
Boy #1 & Boy #2
Boy #1 holding Boy #3 who is reacting to the bright light whilst Boy #3 is trying to stand still.

Awesomeness in a photo!

Close up of Wesley's tie.

We've made it 7 weeks!

Let me begin by saying having 3 kids is hard! BUT we wouldn't take it back for anything! Just waiting till a routine sets in and we all get to a new "normal".

Been a little less bit of this...
And full baths...

Definitely seeing more faces like this

This just cracks me up

Lots of eye gazing

Sweet face

Two weeks later...and check out that belly!

Look Mom, no hands!

My boys (Please excuse the snow cone lips!)
