This last Saturday at the Houston Museum of Natural Science they brought in 80,000 pounds of snow. So for 5 bucks and 15 mins we got to pretend that it snowed in Texas. They also had some side activities for the kiddos while we waited for our time slot. Of course Zachary wanted to decorate a sugar cookie and make a paper plate Santa.
And finally after that long horrible wait of 10 mins, it was our turn to get into that snow.
He obviously didn't know what to do at first so he took sometime to observe.
Then off he went!
Ended like this...
He now knows the meaning of snow balls!
Ofcourse went on to build a minature snowman...
15 mins went faster than we thought, but it was just enough for tiny hands. Stopped to take a picture of us together before we went around the corner to see Santa.
Ok I know this seems sad, but the line to see Santa was 1 1/2 hours wait time. So he atleast got to wave at Santa and seemed content enough to ride the train instead!
